Babies

I read Tara's blog on occasion...sometimes she writes Haiku. I always enjoy them and am inspired, so, while I am no English teacher, I decided to try my own. Here are several attempts:

I saw it today.
The movie about babies.
Oliver is one.

A buttercup had
A bright yellow reflection
He must like butter.

***********************

They fall from the sky
Maple tree helicopters
Swirling all around.

Now it is time for bed. Will I sleep or lay awake counting syllables or trying to understand what exactly a mora is????

Adventure #1

Ok...perhaps this is not an adventure...but it IS my first blog post. I plan to use this blog for a number of uses: to prove that vegan cooking can be simple and delicious, to boast over various projects I start, whether I finish them or not, and most importantly, to talk randomly of the adventure that my life is with my new sidekick Oliver Maxwell.

My real name is Crystal. I am a 30 year-old stay-at-home-mom married to my wonderful husband, Ken. Oliver Maxwell is our sweet-as-can-be baby boy. I have many hobbies and interests which you will be reading about in the future. I know you look forward to my next post with great anticipation....until then...................................
